Engineering professor. Active practitioner of the tools.
Stan Reeves — Auburn University, College of Electrical & Computer Engineering
I'm Stan Reeves. I taught engineering at Auburn University for over 30 years and continue to do so. I use AI tools every day in teaching, research, writing, communication, and in customer follow-up in my own family business. I've spent the last year mapping where they actually pay off in local home service businesses. ReevesWorks is what I do with that work.

The tools exist. They aren't deployed. That's the gap.
In Auburn-Opelika, HVAC and electrical contractors are the non-discretionary backbone of the local economy. They're also the small businesses with the highest ROI from a small number of well-chosen AI tools — phone capture, quote follow-up, service contract automation, review generation. The tools exist. They aren't deployed. That's the gap I work in.
I'm not building software. I'm not reselling it. I'm an engineer applying the same analytical method I've taught for three decades to a question that matters in this town: what AI is actually worth deploying in your business, and what isn't.
Plainly stated.
